Ingredients

1 lb flank steak
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons fish sauce ( A Taste of Thai Fish Sauce is in the Asian food aisle at the supermarket )
2 tablespoons minced red chili peppers
3 cloves garlic , crushed
1 small red onion , sliced thinly
1 small cucumber , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
3 scallions , chopped ( green onions )
1 head lettuce , torn into bite sized pieces ( or greens of your choice )

Instructions

1.Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2.Grill flank steak for 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
3.Let the steak rest for 10 minutes and then slice thinly against the grain.
4.In a bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce, chili peppers, and garlic.
5.Add the sliced steak to the bowl and toss to coat in the dressing.
6.Add red onion, cucumber, cilantro, and scallions to the bowl and toss.
7.Serve on a bed of lettuce or greens of your choice.
