Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together pomegranate syrup, honey, red wine vinegar, paprika, onion powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour half of the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag, add the chicken legs, and toss to coat well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2.In a medium saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. 4.Remove chicken legs from the marinade and pat dry. Stuff the chicken legs with the prepared rice mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5.Brush the remaining marinade over the chicken legs. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken legs reaches 165°F.
