1 1/2 cups tomatillos ( halfed with leafy covering removed )
1/4 cup white onion

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 jalapeno peppers ( with seeds or adjusted for desired heat ) or 1/4 serrano chili pepper ( with seeds or adjusted for desired heat )
1 garlic clove
3/4 cup avocado ( skinned , seeded )
Tamatillo Avacado Salsa is a popular Mexican cuisine recipe that is enjoyed around the world. Instructions

1.Boil the tomatillos in a pot for about 5 minutes, until they turn olive-green color. Drain the water and let them cool down for a minute.
2.Add tomatillos into a blender with onion, cilantro, garlic, jalapeno or serrano pepper, and salt. Blend the ingredients until they turn into a sauce-like consistency.
3.In a bowl, cut the avocado in small pieces and add the sauce from the blender. Mix it all well together.
4.Let the salsa sit for about 15-20 minutes before serving in order to let all the flavors blend together and the salsa to chill.
5.Serve alongside your favorite chips, tacos, or use it as a garnish.

CONS

This recipe is a bit high in fat because of the avocado content.
