Ingredients

7 1/2 ounces tofu ( I used organic sprouted tofu )
12 ounces green beans , trimmed
2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
1 tablespoon sake or 1 tablespoon water
1 -2 teaspoon hot chili paste
2 teaspoons raw sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 garlic clove , minced
1 tablespoon ginger , minced

Instructions

1.Prepare the tofu by slicing it into small cubes of about 1/2 inch.

3.Remove the tofu from the skillet and set it aside. Add another tablespoon of sesame oil to the skillet along with the trimmed and rinsed green beans, garlic, and ginger.
4.Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5.While the green beans are cooking, in a small bowl, combine tamari soy sauce, sake or water, raw sugar, and hot chili paste. Stir until well combined.
6.Add the tofu to the skillet with the green beans and mix.
7.Add the sauce to the skillet and stir everything together until the sauce is well distributed.
8.Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the green beans are fully cooked.
