500 g French beans , washed and trimmed
1 cup oil
1 tablespoon red chili
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon onion seeds
1 tablespoon cumin seed
1 cup lemon juice
salt
100 g green chilies
100 g garlic , peeled and halved
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds ( methi )
1 tablespoon funnel seeds

Instructions

1.Take a large skillet and add oil to it, heating it on medium-high.
2.Add onion seeds and cumin seeds to the skillet, along with fenugreek and funnel seeds to it. Cook this for two minutes and add turmeric and red chili powder to it.
3.Add green chilies and garlic to it and sauté until garlic is light brown in color.
4.Add French beans to the skillet and stir nicely. Cook for around five minutes until they are slightly softened.
5.Pour lemon juice over it and add mustard powder and salt. Mix everything well.
6.Stir constantly for two minutes and then keep it aside to cool down slightly.
7.Your Sword Beans Achar is ready. Serve it at normal temperature.
