Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix the flour, butter, sugar, salt, and beaten egg until well combined.

4.In the meantime, make the filling by melting the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat.

6.Remove from heat and add honey, egg white, egg yolk, and heavy cream to the mixture. Stir well.
7.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
8.Roll out the chilled dough into a circle and place it in a 24-cm (9-inch) pie dish. Make sure the edges are even and the dough is pressed down smoothly against the dish.
9.Pour in the filling and spread it out evenly across the dough.
10.Bake for 40-45 minutes until the pie is golden brown and set.
