1 1/2 lbs round steaks

1 teaspoon garlic powder
flour , for dusting
1/3 cup oil
2 garlic cloves , crushed
1 can diced tomatoes
water
1 medium onion , cut into strips
1 medium green pepper , cut into strips

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2.Season the round steaks generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then dust both sides of the steaks with flour.
3.Heat up a skillet with oil and put in the steaks. Fry both sides of the steak until brown. Remove the steaks from the skillet and place in an oven-safe casserole dish.
4.Add garlic, diced tomatoes, water, onions and green peppers to the same skillet you used before. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
5.Pour the vegetable mixture over the steaks in the casserole dish.
6.Cover the casserole dish with lid or aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 1 1/2-2 hours.
7.Dish out and serve immediately.
