Swiss Plum Kuchen is a traditional Swiss pastry that is popular all over the country. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2.In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
3.Using a pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add eggs and mix until well blended.
4.Spread dough evenly in baking dish.

7.Halve and pit plums, then cut each half into 3 wedges. Arrange the wedges on top of the almond mixture and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
8.Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool and serve.
