Ingredients

1 lb swiss chard , tough stems removed , leaves washed well and chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 lbs baking potatoes , peeled and sliced 3/4-inch thick ( about 3 )
1 onion , chopped
2 garlic cloves , minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chickpeas , drained and rinsed ( one 19-ounce can )
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 cup water
2 hard-boiled eggs , cut into wedges

Instructions

1.In a large Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

4.Add the chickpeas, chicken broth, and water.
5.Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 20 minutes.

7.Continue to simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
8.Remove from heat and serve hot with hard-boiled eggs wedges as garnish.
