6 large corn on the cob , with leaves
2 onions
1 cup milk
4 -5 leaves fresh basil
1 tablespoon oil
salt ( to taste )

Instructions

1.Soak corn leaves in water for 1-2 hours.
2.Peel and finely chop onion.
3.Heat oil in a pan and fry onions until golden brown.
4.Add milk and salt to the pan, stir and remove from heat.
5.Add fresh basil leaves to the pan and mix well.
6.Preheat oven to 200°C.
7.Remove corn leaves from the water and dry them off.
8.Place one corn leaf on a flat surface and brush the surface with milk and basil mixture.
9.Place a second corn leaf on top, and repeat brushing with the mixture.
10.Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of sweetcorn mixture over the lower end of the leaf,
11.Roll up leaf, tucking in sides as you roll.
12.Use string to tie ends of the leaf to hold the parcel together.
13.Brush the top with the milk and basil mixture and place on a baking tray.
14.Bake for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle icing sugar over parcels before serving.
