3 medium sweet potatoes , . choose firm potatoes with even colored skins ( also called yams )
vegetable oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar ( or more sugar , to taste )
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans
3 tablespoons crushed pineapple ( drained )
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
miniature marshmallow

Instructions
