2 -4 garlic cloves
4 large shallots , halved
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons freshly grated gingerroot
1 -2 tablespoon roasted pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons honey
1 -2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce or 1 -2 teaspoon lemon juice
salt & freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 425°F.
2.Peel and chop the turnips or carrots into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic cloves and grate the gingerroot.
3.In a large bowl, mix the chopped vegetables, minced garlic, and halved shallots together. Drizzle 4 tablespoons of oil over the top, and toss the vegetables to coat well.
4.Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5.Spread the vegetables out on to a baking sheet and roast for 20-30 minutes or until tender, stirring once or twice during cooking.
6.In a small bowl, mix together honey and Worcestershire sauce or lemon juice.
7.Drizzle the honey mixture over the vegetables and toss them together.
8.Garnish with roasted pumpkin seeds, and serve warm.
