1 cup butter , softened
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons heavy cream
white sugar for dusting
1/2 cup butter , softened
3/4 cup confectioners ' sugar
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons Swedish arrack punsch

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2.In a medium bowl, cream together 1 cup butter, confectioners' sugar, and egg yolk until light and fluffy. Stir in flour and cream.
3.Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Dip bottom of a drinking glass into white sugar and gently press onto the top of each cookie.
4.Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. While warm, remove from cookie sheets and sprinkle with additional white sugar.
5.In a separate small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup butter with arrack punsch. Serve as a dipping sauce for waffle cookies.
