Swedish Snowballs, also known as chokladbollar, are a popular sweet treat in Sweden, especially during the winter months when the snow is falling outside. These bite-sized snacks are made with rolled oats, unsweetened cocoa, and butter, and are rolled in powdered sugar for a snowball-like appearance. While traditionally made with coffee, this recipe uses cold coffee to achieve a more pronounced rich cocoa flavor. Perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, these snowballs are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375F/190C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla.
3.Add the melted butter and cold coffee to the bowl, stirring until well combined.
4.Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5.Bake the balls in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the outside and still slightly soft on the inside.
6.Let the snowballs cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, roll the snowballs in powdered sugar to coat.
7.Serve and enjoy!
