HEALTH & BENEFITS

Pork is a good source of protein and iron, which are important for muscle function and normal blood cell production. However, pork is also high in fat, so lean cuts or portion moderation are recommended for a balanced diet. The cream in this recipe adds richness and flavor, but it is a high-fat dairy product that should be consumed in moderation. Onions provide fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants, and have been associated with possible health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and improving bone health.
