Ingredients

1 kg chicken piece
1 onion
0.75 can coconut milk
1 cup coconut vinegar
2 tomatoes ( or 1 can tomatoes )
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
2.Add the chicken pieces and toss until they are well coated with the spice mixture.

4.Add the onion and cook until it is translucent, about 5 minutes.
5.Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until they are browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
6.Add the canned tomatoes (if using fresh tomatoes, chop them finely and add them to the pot) and coconut vinegar to the pot.
7.Lower the heat and let the chicken simmer for 20-25 minutes.
8.Add the coconut milk to the pot and stir well.
9.Let the chicken simmer for another 5 minutes, or until it is cooked through.
10.Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
