Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, white flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, dried apricot, dried prune, salt, egg, sour cream, melted butter, chopped almonds, grated lemon rind, and vanilla.
3.Mix until well combined.
4.Pour mixture into two greased loaf pans.
5.Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6.Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
