4 -5 fresh mint leaves , finely minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup cucumber , peeled , seeded and finely chopped
1 pinch kosher salt

2 pita bread rounds , halved and warm
1 cup white onion , sliced into thin rings
1 1/2 cups iceberg lettuce , shredded
