A pork roast is a traditional family meal, and this Sunday Pork Roast in a Dutch Oven recipe is a classic example of a hearty, comforting meal that is perfect for gathering around the table with loved ones on a cozy evening. Pork shoulder is a great cut of meat for slow cooking since the long, low-temperature cooking process yields tender, juicy meat that falls off the bone. When paired with caramelized onions and a thick sauce from beef bouillon, the pork roast is elevated to the next level, making it a delicious meal to enjoy with family and friends.

.Season the pork with kosher salt and pepper.
.Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
.Sear the pork until browned on all sides and remove to a plate.

.Add the pork and onions back to the Dutch oven.
.Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours until the pork is falling apart.
.Remove the pork and onions from the Dutch oven and set aside to rest.
