Ingredients

1 large whole chicken
1 -2 teaspoon parsley
1 -2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1 lemon , wedged
salt and pepper
1 lemon , sliced
2 -3 tablespoons butter
1 onion , sliced
1 -2 teaspoon paprika
This succulent baked chicken recipe is the perfect dinner for any day of the week. The chicken is moist, flavorful and has a crispy skin. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 425°F.
2.Combine parsley, thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
3.Loosen skin from the chicken and spread half the butter under the skin, and the rest on top of the skin. Massage the chicken with the herbs mixture and shove the lemon wedges inside the chicken.
4.Place the sliced onion on a baking tray and put the chicken on top of the onions. Add sliced lemons around the chicken.
5.Roast the chicken for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes, carve and serve with the roasted lemon and onions.
