1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
2 medium onions , chopped
4 garlic cloves , chopped
10 ounces ground beef or 10 ounces ground lamb
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
salt and pepper
1 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup fresh curly-leaf parsley , chopped
2 tablespoons of fresh mint , chopped
lemon juice ( optional )
1 tablespoon of fresh mint , chopped
Stuffed Pide, also known as Turkish Pizza, is a traditional dish from Turkey that consists of a boat-shaped bread filled with spiced ground meat and vegetables. Similar to Italian pizza, Pide can be found in many different variations across Turkey. This traditional recipe is a classic, featuring a flavorful mixture of ground beef or lamb, onions, garlic, tomatoes, fresh herbs, and spices. Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the yeast, warm water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil.
2.Fold in the flour until a dough is formed. Knead the dough for 5 minutes and let it rest in the bowl until it doubles in size.
3.In a skillet, cook the onions and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add in the ground beef or lamb, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned. Add in the chopped tomato, parsley, and mint and cook for a few more minutes.
4.Preheat the oven to 375°F. Divide the dough into four balls. Roll out each ball into an elongated oval shape. Spread the ground beef mixture in the center of each piece of dough.
5.Fold up the sides to create a boat shape. Bake the pide on a baking sheet for 25 to 30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.
