Ingredients

1 1/2 dozen mussels , scrubbed and beards removed
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 tablespoons flour

1 egg , beaten

4 tablespoons fine dry breadcrumbs

Instructions

10.Serve hot with reserved mussel shells as a decorative plate.
