Stuffed Cabbage Rolls (Galumpkis) are a classic Eastern European dish that is often associated with Poland and Hungary. They are made by filling cabbage leaves with a mixture of ground beef, rice, and seasonings, and then baking them in a tomato sauce. The dish is comforting and satisfying, and is perfect for a cozy family dinner on a chilly evening. The filling can be customized with different meats or vegetarian options, and the tomato sauce can be spiced up with herbs or hot sauce.

Instructions

.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
.Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Remove the core from the cabbage and place it in the boiling water for 10 minutes, or until the leaves are tender. Drain and set aside.
.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked white rice, chopped onions, egg, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
.Take a cabbage leaf and place some of the beef mixture in the center. Fold the sides of the cabbage leaf over the filling, and roll it up tightly. Repeat with the remaining cabbage leaves and beef mixture.
.Pour the diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato sauce, remaining Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and lemon juice into a baking dish.
.Place the cabbage rolls in the tomato mixture, seam-side down.
.Pour the remaining can of tomato sauce over the top of the cabbage rolls.
.Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes.
.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
