Ingredients

1 tablespoon active dry yeast
2 tablespoons warm water
1/2 cup milk
salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg , beaten
1 egg white
white sesame seeds , for sprinkling
1 1/2 cups chicken , cooked and shredded or 1 1/2 cups panir
1 onion , minced
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 pinch cumin , ground
1 pinch garam masala
salt
2 tablespoons coriander leaves ( finely chopped )

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, whisk together yeast and warm water until yeast dissolves.
2.In a large bowl, mix together milk, salt, vegetable oil, flour, sugar, and beaten egg.
3.Add the yeast mixture to the bowl and knead the dough on a floured surface until it turns smooth.
4.In a large pan, heat oil and saute onion, ginger-garlic paste, chicken or paneer, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin, garam masala, and salt together for 5 minutes, setting aside to cool.
5.Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll each piece into a small disk, placing the filling on it.
6.Place the filling at the center of the disk and fold the disk in half and pinch the edges to seal in the filling.
7.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
8.Leave the buns to rise for at least 15 minutes and brush the tops of the buns with beaten egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9.Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
10.Serve the stuffed buns hot with your favorite condiment.
