pizza dough
1 ounce prosciutto , 4 slices
6 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup tomato sauce , use your favorite ( plus some extra for dipping )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425°F.
2.Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a pan on medium-high heat.
3.Add diced onions to the pan and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
4.Add diced peppers and mushrooms to the pan. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
5.Add minced garlic, dried parsley, and dried oregano to the pan and stir for one minute.
6.Roll out the pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
7.Add the sautéed vegetables onto half of the dough, then layer prosciutto and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
8.Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges. Brush the top of the dough with olive oil.
9.Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
10.Slice and serve with extra tomato sauce for dipping.
