Instructions

1.Cook seashell pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.

3.In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced onion, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.

Spread half of the pasta mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, then pour half of the tomato sauce mixture on top. Repeat the layering with the remaining pasta and sauce. Top with remaining shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
5.Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
