Ingredients

1 1/2 liters milk
100 g low-fat yogurt , beaten
8 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons strawberry syrup
2 tablespoons fresh strawberry jam

Instructions

1.In a large heavy bottomed saucepan, bring the milk to boil stirring occasionally on medium heat.
2.Once boiled, lower the heat, add the yogurt, and stir until all the milk has turned into curdles.
3.Line a sieve with a cheesecloth and pour the yogurt onto it, discarding the whey.
4.Once the cheese is dry, add the sugar, strawberry syrup, and fresh strawberry jam and knead together until all the lumps are gone.
5.Divide the mixture into small portions and shape into circular discs.
6.Garnish with a slice of fresh strawberry and serve chilled.
