Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 package frozen sweetened strawberries , thawed
1 cup orange juice
1 cup spanish sparkling wine ( Brut Cava )
fresh strawberries ( optional for garnish )
This Strawberry and Orange Cava Sorbet combines sweet and citrusy flavors with a hint of bubbles to create a refreshing summer dessert. Instructions

1.In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 3 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool.
2.In a blender, puree the thawed frozen sweetened strawberries until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl. Discard the seeds.
3.To the bowl, add orange juice, the cooled sugar syrup, and Spanish sparkling wine. Mix well.
4.Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 30 minutes.
5.Transfer the sorbet into a freezer-proof container with a tight-fitting lid, and freeze it for at least 2 hours before serving.
