1 1/2 lbs ground sirloin , shaped into 4 patties
4 teaspoons butter
4 tablespoons butter
4 eggs
6 -12 anchovy fillets ( optional )
2 tablespoons capers , drained
1 tablespoon parsley , finely chopped
salt & freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.Season the patties with salt and black pepper.
3.Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 4 teaspoons of butter. Add the patties and cook for 8-10 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached. Transfer patties to a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven.
4.Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Keep warm.
5.Add the anchovies (if using), capers, and parsley to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the anchovies dissolve.
6.In a separate skillet, fry the eggs until desired doneness is reached.
7.To serve, place a patty on each plate, top with the anchovy-caper sauce, add a fried egg on top of each patty, and pour melted butter over the top.
