Instructions

10.Use a smaller cookie cutter to cut shapes out of the center of each cookie.
11.Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
12.Crush the hard candies in a plastic bag using a rolling pin.
13.Sprinkle the candy pieces into the center cut-outs of each cookie.
14.Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
15.Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
