Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, veal, pork, breadcrumbs, and cream. Mix well.
3.In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add chopped onion and sauté until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

7.While the meatballs are baking, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Add 2 tablespoons of flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes to make a roux. Add beef broth, water, and instant coffee. Whisk well to combine.
8.Bring gravy mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent lumps. Cook until gravy has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
9.Season gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
10.Once meatballs are done baking, transfer them to the skillet with the gravy. Stir gently to coat meatballs with gravy.
