1 cup water
1 cup cream
1 cup butter ( about 230 g )
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2.Dissolve the baking soda in the milk.

4.Pour the mixture into a 1.5-liter ovenproof dish, then bake for 50-60 minutes until the pudding is golden brown and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
5.As the pudding is cooking, make the sauce. In a saucepan, bring the water, cream, butter, vanilla and sugar to a boil. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened. Serve over the warm pudding.
