3 cups split peas
2 carrots , grated
3 potatoes
8 cups homemade beef stock or 8 cups water
10 ounces Polish kielbasa , cubed smoked from polish speciality store , not from supermarket please will never be the same
bay leaf , whole spice
marjoram

Instructions

1.Rinse the split peas and drain them. Cut the carrots and potatoes into small pieces.
2.In a pot, add the stock/water, split peas, carrots, potatoes, bay leaf and marjoram. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes.
3.Add the cubed kielbasa to the pot and continue to simmer for another 15-20 mins.
4.Remove bay leaf. Serve hot and enjoy!
