Ingredients

1 cup long-grain white rice
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon cajun seasoning ( optional )
1 teaspoon lime juice , divided
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

1.Rinse white rice in a fine-mesh strainer or sieve under cold running water until the water runs clear.

3.Add the chicken broth and soy sauce to the saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat.

5.Remove the saucepan from heat. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the remaining 1/2 teaspoon lime juice.
