Ingredients

500 g dried anchovies ( Anchovy Fillet )
2 large boiled potatoes
1/2 tomatoes , chopped
1/2 onion , chopped
2 dried red chilies ( optional )
1 dried bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida powder

table salt ( according to taste )
1/2 cumin powder
1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 tablespoon chili powder ( optional )
1 tablespoon cumin seed
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon cumin seed
1 tablespoon garlic or 1 tablespoon ginger paste

Instructions

1.Rinse the dried anchovy fillet under running water and drain it.
2.Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan.

5.Add chopped onion and fry till light brown.

10.Add the boiled, peeled, and cubed potatoes to the pan and mix gently.
11.Cook for 10-15 minutes till everything is well combined and heated through.
12.Garnish with chopped spring onions and coriander leaves.
