3 carrots , cut into 1/4-inch slices

2 cans chickpeas ( garbanzo beans ) , drained and rinsed
4 lemon wedges
4 sprigs fresh cilantro , or as desired

Instructions

7.Turn down the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until carrots are tender and chickpeas are heated through.
8.Squeeze lemon wedges over the top of the dish and finish with fresh cilantro.
