Ingredients

1/4 cup rice wine , Shao Hsing
1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons canola oil , divided
3/4 lb sirloin steak , trimmed of fat , cut in half lengthwise and thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
10 raw shrimp , peeled , deveined and chopped
1 lb bok choy , preferably baby bok choy , trimmed and sliced into 1-inch pieces
Spicy Beef With Shrimp and Bok Choy is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender beef and succulent shrimp with the crunch of bok choy. Instructions

1.In a small bowl, whisk 1 tablespoon of rice wine, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch until smooth.
2.In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 teaspoons of canola oil over high heat. Add the sliced steak and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes, until browned. Transfer the steak to a clean plate.
3.In the same skillet, heat the remaining 2 teaspoons of canola oil over high heat. Add the red pepper flakes and stir-fry for 10 seconds, until fragrant. Add the chopped shrimp and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes, until pink and cooked through.
4.Add the bok choy to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2 minutes, until wilted.
5.Add the cooked steak back to the skillet, along with the remaining 3 tablespoons of rice wine and 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 more minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the bok choy is tender.
6.Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
