Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey sausage, egg substitute, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, wheat germ, and breadcrumbs.
3.Roll the mixture into meatballs measuring about 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter.
4.Place the meatballs in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
5.Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, green pepper, zucchini, garlic, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
6.Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the sauce has thickened.
7.While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package directions. Drain.
8.Toss the cooked spaghetti with the sauce and serve with the turkey meatballs on top.
