100 g soybeans , soaked overnight
25 g sugar
600 ml water
1 screwpine leaves , washed and tied into a knot
Soyabean milk drink is a dairy-free alternative that has been consumed for centuries by people in Asia and other parts of the world. It is produced by soaking, grinding, cooking and straining whole soybeans, which results in a creamy texture with a nutty flavor that appeals to many people. Instructions

1.Rinse the soaked soybeans and remove any impurities.
2.Using a blender, blend the soybeans with 550ml of water until it becomes a smooth paste.
3.Strain the blended soybean paste with a cheesecloth to extract the milk and discard the pulp.
4.In a pot, cook the extracted soybean milk with screwpine leaves over low heat.
5.Stir occasionally and add sugar to taste.
6.Serve hot or chilled.
