2 cups soya granules , soaked for 30 minutes in vinegar and water and drained
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
oil , to fry
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon ajwain
2 - 2 1/2 cups fresh tomato puree
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
cilantro , for garnishing

Instructions

1.In a food processor, grind the soaked and drained soya granules into a paste.
2.Mix the ground soya granules with breadcrumbs, salt, garlic paste, and red chili powder.
3.Form the mixture into small dumplings.
4.Heat oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until crisp and brown. Keep aside.
5.In the same pan, add oil and heat it.
6.Add ajwain and let it splutter.
7.Add fresh tomato puree, salt, black pepper, sugar, and red chili powder. Cook until the sauce thickens.
8.Add the fried dumplings to the tomato sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
9.Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
