1 kg rump steak ( about 2 1/2 pounds )
6 tablespoons mrs ball 's chutney ( substitue see below )
6 tablespoons tomato sauce ( Ketchup )
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar ( balsamic )
2 sliced onions
1/2 cup canned mushroom , drained
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, mix mrs ball's chutney, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, and apple cider vinegar.
2.Place the sliced onions in a baking dish and place the steak on top of the onions.
3.Pour the marinade over the steak and onions, coating evenly.
4.Cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
5.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the steak for 20 minutes, flipping the steak over halfway through cooking time.
6.Add in the drained mushrooms to the dish and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the steak is cooked to your liking.
7.Let the steak rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with the remaining marinade sauce on the side.
