Ingredients

3 1/2 ounces butter , soft

3 eggs , largest size , beaten
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder ( not soda )
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 quart buttermilk ( full fat or low fat )
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon , mixed with
3 tablespoons sugar ( keep in a little bowl )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk in three additions.

9.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
