Ingredients

1 box soft silken tofu
1 large very ripe avocado
1/2 cup bottled chunky salsa ( I used Trader Joe 's Garlic Salsa )
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice or 1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce ( I used the Chipotle Tabasco )
salt and pepper , to taste
This vegan avocado dip is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional sour cream dips. Instructions

1.Drain the tofu and pat dry with a paper towel.
2.Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a large bowl.
3.Add the tofu, salsa, cilantro, lime juice, hot sauce, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
4.Use an immersion blender or food processor to mix until smooth and creamy.
5.Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
