Ingredients

1/2 gallon powdered milk
1 1/2 gallons coconut milk
1/3 gallon evaporated milk
2 kg sugar
1/3 kg cornstarch

Instructions

1.In a large pot or Dutch oven, stir together the powdered milk, coconut milk, and evaporated milk.
2.Whisk in the sugar until dissolved.
3.In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 1/4 cup water until smooth.
4.Add the cornstarch mixture to the pot, stirring well to combine.
5.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
6.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
7.Transfer the mixture to a container, let cool, and place in the freezer.
8.Every 30 minutes, take it out and stir it to break up any ice crystals, until it reaches the desired consistency.
