1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Thick-cut dill pickle slices
Hamburger trimmings , such as lettuce , tomato , onion , mustard , if desired

Instructions

1.Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

3.In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, molasses, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chipotle pepper, garlic granules, onion powder, kosher salt, cumin, and dry mustard to make Smoky BBQ Sauce.
4.Brush burgers with 1 tablespoon of olive oil on each side and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
5.Divide BBQ sauce onto the bottom halves of buns, top with burgers, and add desired toppings such as thick-cut dill pickle slices and hamburger trimmings.
6.Top with the remaining half of the bun and serve.
