Ingredients

1 package ready made shortcrust pastry
2 egg yolks
3 whole eggs
300 g double cream
1 bunch fresh dill
black pepper
200 g smoked salmon

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C.

5.Add the whole eggs and double cream and mix well.
6.Finally, stir in the chopped fresh dill.
7.Cut the smoked salmon into strips and arrange into the tart case.
8.Pour over the egg and cream mixture being careful not to overfill the case.
9.Season with freshly ground black pepper.
10.Bake in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the filling is set.
11.Leave the tart to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before removing from the case and slicing.
12.Serve with a side salad or your favourite garnish.
