4 lbs skinless chicken breasts , bone-in
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon chili powder

Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix together the dried oregano, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and fresh ground pepper.
2.Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts, making sure to coat them well.
3.In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
4.Transfer the chicken to a slow cooker.
5.In the same skillet, add the diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and chipotle chile. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is soft and the tomatoes are broken down.
6.Transfer the tomato mixture to the slow cooker.
