400 -500 g peeled king prawns
2 garlic cloves

1 fresh green chile

1 -2 teaspoon cayenne or 1 -2 teaspoon chili powder , depending on how hot you want it to be
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 tablespoons lemon juice
150 ml water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
salt , to taste

Instructions

1.In a pan, heat the vegetable oil on medium heat.
2.Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
3.Add chopped garlic, sliced green chile, garam masala, cayenne or chili powder, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.
4.Add the peeled king prawns and cook for around 3 minutes until they turn pink and are well coated with the spice mixture.
5.Add 150 ml water and bring to a boil.
6.Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
7.Add lemon juice and chopped coriander and mix well.
8.Serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
