Ingredients

1 box macaroni and cheese mix ( Kraft or like )
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt , DIVIDED
1 lb 90 % lean ground beef
1/4 - 1/2 cup onion , chopped finely , measured amount your preference
3/4 cup cheddar cheese , grated and DIVIDED
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk or 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ( or less , your preference )
pepper
1 can mushrooms , sliced and drained ( ingredient is optional )
Simple Macaroni & Cheese Beef Skillet Bake is the perfect one-skillet meal that can be put together in a short amount of time. This is definitely a dish the whole family will enjoy. Instructions

1.Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
3.Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until translucent.
4.Add the mushroom soup, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
5.Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
6.Add the cooked macaroni and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
7.Preheat the boiler. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cheddar cheese over the top of the skillet.
8.Place the skillet under the broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
