Ingredients

8 slices Italian bread ( I use deli Italian )
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard ( or your favorite mustard )
4 ounces swiss cheese
12 ounces pastrami ( sliced paper thin but not shaved )
2 tablespoons butter
This Simple Hot Pastrami and Swiss Sandwich is a classic deli-style sandwich that is perfect for a hearty lunch. Instructions

1.Preheat a griddle or pan over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of Italian bread.
2.Spread mustard on the opposite side of each slice of bread.
3.On 4 bread slices, place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top of the mustard.
4.Divide the hot pastrami among the 4 slices of cheese-topped bread.
5.Place the remaining bread, mustard side down, on top of the pastrami.
6.Grill each sandwich on the griddle or pan, butter side down, for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
